Apple keyboard fails to recognize certain dictionary words

I’m struggling with swiping recognizing certain words no matter how careful I am on Apple’s floating keyboard. Further, I tried typing the word letter by letter and even when I’m only missing the final letter, it suggests no words instead of suggesting the correct word. I’ve linked web dictionaries to show that these are in fact actual words and not just idioms that might have an excuse for not being recognized.

ps I confirmed that I’m using Apple’s keyboard. I’m using the English (US) language.
