How do I disable the segmented email view on my iPhone or iPad?

Recently my view of email on my phone has changed. I no longer see all of my email but it all segmented like google. As a result emails are hidden from view. This is a Terrible user experience. How do I fix it?

Open the Mail App

  • Tap the circle at the top with three dots in it and choose List View

If you wan to remove the contact posters next to each message:

  • Open the Settings App and scan all the way down to bottom and tap Apps
  • Find Mail and tap it, then look for and turn off Show Contact Photos

Your mail app will now look as it did before the update.
