How do I disable the segmented email view on my iPhone or iPad?

Recently my view of email on my phone has changed. I no longer see all of my email but it all segmented like google. As a result emails are hidden from view. This is a Terrible user experience. How do I fix it?

Open the Mail App

Tap the circle at the top with three dots in it and choose List View

If you wan to remove the contact posters next to each message:

Open the Settings App and scan all the way down to bottom and tap Apps
Find Mail and tap it, then look for and turn off Show Contact Photos

Your mail app will now look as it did before the update.
