Unable to use Edit button for email categories on iPad after updating to iPadOS 18.3

Edit button at top of email has disappeared since i updated to 18.3, how do i get it back. Can’t do an edit process to select emails to be deleted, seem to be only able to address them one at a time.

iPhone is ios17, iPad now on iOS 18.3, iPhone has edit button on upper right of screen but it is no longer there on the iPad, for any category such as junk, trash, etc. How do I get this button back, I use it all the time.

The current iPadOS version is 18.3.1.

I have the edit button on my iPad running iPadOS 18.3.1.

Yes, mine is 18.3.1 as well but there is no select button or the 3 dots at the top of my inbox. I do have the edit button on mailboxes. I did shut off my iPad and restart yesterday but nothing has changed. Thanks anyway.

Well I thought it was resolved but today I have the same issue. I don’t know when I will or will not have the edit option from day to day. Totally annoying! Not sure what I did to resolve it the first time but it was not a permanent fix. I just keep trying going in and out of mail app.
