Connecting Mac to my Brother printer

My Brother printer (MFC-8810) works fine. I recently dropped cable and got AT&T fiber for faster internet speed. Now all my devices won't connect (Amazon dots, Sonos, brother printer, etc). I've got some of the items working. But my printer won't connect to my Mac. Printer is definitely online and says it's connected to my new wi-fi. Mac is connected to new wi-fi also. When adding printer, I get message "Unable to connect to 'Brother MFC-8810DW._ipps._tcp.local.' due to an error. Would you still like to create the printer?" Can anyone help?
