Creating graphs in excel?

Is it possible? I have a school project where graphs have to be included. I've only had my mac for a couple of weeks so I'm not sure whether it's just me being hopeless, or I really can't make a graph on Microsoft Excel for Mac...
If I can't make a graph there, where can I?
