How do I access explicit content on Apple Music?

Hello,

I just started my Apple Music subscription and all my songs are “clean” and not explicit. I tried to google the problem and found the solution to go to screen time and then music podcasts etc and set them to explicit. Okay. So I already had them on explicit and having redone it multiple times I still only get clean songs on Apple Music. What is the problem here?

On Apple Music, songs are typically marked as "Explicit" if they contain strong language, mature themes, or explicit references to violence, drugs, or sex. Here are a few well-known examples of songs often labeled as explicit:

  1. "SICKO MODE" – Travis Scott (feat. Drake)
  2. "God's Plan" – Drake (explicit version)
  3. "WAP" – Cardi B (feat. Megan Thee Stallion)
  4. "HUMBLE." – Kendrick Lamar
  5. "MOOD" – 24kGoldn (feat. iann dior) (explicit version)
  6. "Savage" – Megan Thee Stallion (explicit version)
  7. "Rockstar" – Post Malone (feat. 21 Savage)
  8. "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)" – Lil Nas X
  9. "Love The Way You Lie" – Eminem (feat. Rihanna) (explicit version)
  10. "In Da Club" – 50 Cent
