How do I withdraw funds from my Apple Account for non-Apple purchases?

I know I can withdraw funds out of my Apple Cash, but how do I withdraw from my Apple account? I do not want to spend it on Apple products.

Apple Account is essentially an Apple Store and Apple services account. Funds in your Apple Account can only be used at Apple Retail Stores and online at Apple.com/store and for services, subscriptions from Apple App Store, iTunes Store, Apple TV, etc.

It is also the location where Gift Cards are redeemed and Gift Cards have no cash value. If you were allowed to transfer funds out of the Apple Account, that would also mean it was possible to cash out Gift Cards, which is not the case. Gift Cards can only be used for Apple Purchases. Here is what you can do with your Apple Account:

If you accidentally added funds to your Apple Account from a Debit Card instead of adding it to Apple Cash, then you may be able to contact Apple directly and they can reverse that transaction.

*Gift Card rules may vary by region.
