Encrypt my email by default

I try to encrypt and signed my email, but it doesn’t give me the option. I mean the option is there but it’s blocked. It won’t let me click on it. I don’t know if it does it automatically, but I know I can’t connect to the server from my phone.

First you'll need to install an S/MIME certificate on the phone. Once you've done this then you should be able to enable encryption. Of course, you'll need the public key of the recipients you're sending encrypted mails to; this used to work automatically on Exchange but MS have mucked about with Exchange since I last used it so don't know if it still does.

I've not done this for a while so I'm a bit out of date. You ought to be able to get a class 1 cert free. Class 2 you'll have to pay for. Do your research before you decide - there's tons of info on Google. If you're on Exchange then make sure it's compatible. As I said in my first response, all the people you send encrypted mail to will also each have to have their own certificate as well. you can't just encrypt at your end, it has to be decrypted at the other end.
