iMac 27" 3,4Ghz i5, 2017 as monitor for Mac Mini (MacOS Ventura)

I'd like to know if I can use my iMac 2017 as a monitor for the new Mac Mini. My iMac is starting to slowdown and I think I just have a few more months of use. I'm considering options. It's such a beautiful screen I'd hate to give it up. I just don't know if it would work as just a monitor. Thank you.

No. You cannot use the iMac as a monitor for the new Mac mini.

Target display mode is dead technology.

Plan to buy a monitor to go with the mini.
