I would encourage you to update your macOS 13.0 configuration to the most current macOS 13 version (to macOS 13.7.4, presently) before proceeding with any configuration or troubleshooting.


The Epson EcoTank ET-4800 All-in-One Cartridge-Free Supertank Printer printer supports AirPrint and TWAIN, which means it should work with no vendor printer drivers required, and with Image Capture app for scanning.


This on any recent macOS version.


Ensure the most recent firmware is running on that printer:
