Music videos are missing or not appearing in Apple Music, even though they were previously accessible.
This issue may persist for an extended period (over a year, for example) without an obvious fix.Root Cause:
- The problem is caused by Screen Time restrictions inadvertently restricting content types, such as music videos, under the "Content & Privacy Restrictions" settings.
Solution:
- Open Settings:
- Go to the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Navigate to Screen Time:
- Scroll down and tap Screen Time.
- Check Content & Privacy Restrictions:
- Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions.
- If prompted, enter your Screen Time passcode (if you have one set).
- Adjust Allowed Content:
- Tap on Content Restrictions.
- Scroll down and find Music, Podcasts & News.
- Ensure that Music Videos is set to Allow (instead of Don't Allow).
