Apple TV+ movie freezes and has no sound on Sony Bravia

I select a movie, the preview plays with sound normally. When I select watch movie it will load, a picture will show but is frozen. The frame will advance every 10-30 seconds. I have restarted the T,V (Sony Bravia), removed the Apple TV+ app and reinstalled the app, restarted the surround system amp and called Apple support. Nothing seems to work.

Firmware is latest version I can find and start a purchased movie (using either hardware or software 'remote') I can play and streaming starts BUT.. the TVApp does not then accept any control inputs - no pause/stop or ability to navigate. The menu for Input / Chapters / Start from Beginning remains on screen but can't navigate to it. The only working input is to hold/press the Menu to exit or to call up the 'tv' app switcher then close the AppleTV app. Rebooted and total power off/unplug, s/w update checked, remote battery checked - so I am fairly confident this is a bug relating to the new AppleTV app. Prime/Disney and other streaming services all running and responding fine. Ideas ??

Sound cuts out on only one program We're running AppleTV on LG HD TV and all of the programmes and films work absolutely fine except Foundation. We get sound for approximately 5 seconds then it cuts out. We really want to watch this programme!

Sound cuts out after a few seconds while watching apple tv + on LG tv I have been trying to watch ‘Platonic’ for the past 2 weeks on an LG tv, but the sound completely cuts out after a few seconds every time. Other series I’ve tried play without issues. It is extremely frustrating
