Right side AirPod Pro2 not working

I have been facing a strange issue with my right AirPod Pro 2, it just stopped working a few weeks back. Everything else seems fine, and I have already checked the firmware (it is up to date).

I visited an Apple service center hoping for some clarity, but their response was a bit … unexpected. Initially, they told me there was water damage on the left AirPod, which was odd because my issue is with the right one. When I pointed that out, they quickly shifted their reasoning, which didn’t inspire much confidence.

Since I am not entirely convinced by their explanation, I wanted to check here, has anyone else experienced something similar? Any troubleshooting tips before I consider replacement options ?
