What are you trying to accomplish exactly?
You can setup the new (preowned) iPhone with a backup from the old one and this will transfer all data from the old one to the new one.

You can log in to the iCloud account from the old one to get anything that was in iCloud on the new one. This would include contacts, notes, email and calendar entries.

You can sync Photos if iCloud Photos options was turned on on the old and you turn it on on the new one.
