Can I remove spam text

I received msg that my phone is linked to spam texted. How do I find and remove this msg or texter

Let me guess... the message came with a link to some "service" to validate your phone and somehow magically clean up the reports?


In that case, the message itself is the spam and you are the target. It's designed to trick you into thinking you urgently need to take action and play right into the scammer's pocket.


Text spoofing (just like CallerID spoofing) is not trivial but can be done, and it's possible that someone's spoofing your number and sending messages that look like they come from you. If that's the case, there's absolutely nothing you can do about it. Just like CallerID spoofing, it doesn't touch your system or rely on anything you do, so it's moot.


I feel it's more likely that you are the victim here, not the bad actor, and I'd be very suspicious of some random text message claiming that you're at fault without any additional proof.
