iTunes Connect: unable to add Legal Entity
Hi community, I am desperate, frustrated and very disappointed.
Prolog
- Today I spoke with 6 operators and none had a clue, I've been transferred 5 times.
iTunes Connect support is disregarding me since January 18. I had a first response saying "check US tax info at this link", which of course did not help (from iBookStoreContracts@apple.com )
- I tried to open 2 more tickets but nobody is answering.
- I would like to publish an ebook, and to do that I have to register a legal entity on iTunes Connect.
The issue:
- I am not able to add a Legal Entity, because the form wants a US Tax ID.
- I want to add my Company "Stockholm17 AB", which is registered in Sweden.
- I do not have a US Tax ID of any kind.
- I am supposed to fill the W-8BEN-E form, but it is not available as option.
- I have an App Store Connect account working very well, registered to my business and everything is in order.
- I have a valid D-U-N-S number, and the system recognize it.
The following picture shows the issue.
Again, I spoke at the phone and via chat with a lot of operators. Nobody could help me.
Why the form is asking me a US Tax ID if the business is swedish?
Sweden is an eligible country.
And on top of that, why the customer service is ghosting me since January 18?
Anyone with that issue?
