How do I clear all notifications in Sequoia 15.1?

Up until yesterday, I could hover over the date in the menu, upper right corner, and pull down an option to Edit Widgets or Clear All notifications (the first picture below.) But now, the same action only lets me edit widgets. (see second picture below). How do I close all notifications at once that pile up on the right hand side of my desktop?

SOLVED: with help from various members, have figured this out. To cut to the chase: When you have multiple notifications taking up space on the right hand side of your screen and want to clear them all:

  1. click on the date in the upper right hand corner
  2. The notifications will shift and then reappear in the same place, this time along with widgets, and now there will be a "clear" button on the bottom of the stack
  3. Click the button and choose "all notifications." They will all disappear!

Clear all notifications at once - Apple Community

Thanks for this. The author Andreas Carlsson suggests "Kill the process called "Notifcation Centre"." but I don't understand what that means. the Apple respondent. UT Badger suggests " Clear a single notification or all notifications in a stack: Click the Clear or Clear All button," which is what I show in the earlier screenshot and what worked for me until a couple of days ago. I found instructions initially in this Apple Forum post, which shows the same method I used successfully until a few days ago: RESOLVED: MacOS clear all app notificatio… - Apple Community

So I am still at a loss. Updated to 15.3.1 but no change.

I really don't think I ever had a third-party application. I followed the instructions in this Apple Forum post RESOLVED: MacOS clear all app notificatio… - Apple Community

And this is also reference in the post leroydouglas linked above, Clear all notifications at once - Apple Community

But the option is no longer available. i updated to 15.3.1 but nothing changed. And thanks for your response.Still hoping to find a way to clear all notifications at once.
