Can I turn off Two-Factor authentication on my Apple Account?

Two-factor authentication cannot be disabled, once enabled for two weeks, or if two-factor authentication was enabled when the Apple Account was created. (During those two weeks after being enabled, use the link in the mail message.)

There was an two-step verification system, but that’s been deprecated for many years.

If you already had Two-Factor Authentication setup, you won’t be able to turn it off now.
