Blocking voicemail

Traveling to a foreign country and want to block all voicemail. Airplane mode still allows voicemail and thus expensive charges. Only want to use music, photos, check WiFi emails, etc. Don't want to pay for Travel Acct. as still very expensive. Thanks

Visual voicemails that have already been downloaded should still be available when Airplane mode is enabled and there is no charge and can be no charge when listening to the voicemails already downloaded when Airplane mode is enabled, and new voicemails cannot be downloaded to the iPhone when Airplane mode is enabled.

With Airplane mode enabled, you can turn on wi-fi access for internet access via an available wi-fi network only. All other iPhone radios are turned off.
