iPhone 13 charging error after water exposure

My I phone 13 fell into toilet. I immediately took it out. I put in rice (I now know that is good.) for about three hours. It works fine, but when I try to charge it, it says there may be water there.

Will it ever be able to be charged that way, or do I need to buy the one that it sits in to charge.

Not good. Tiny rice particles.....(hard to see).....get into the openings and ports and expand.....clogging things up. This prevents moisture inside the phone from evaporating effectively.

Power off the phone and leave it off for at least 2 days. Use a wooden toothpick and flashlight to carefully clear any debris from the port. Then, check again to see if you can charge the phone normally.
