I recently purchased an IPhone 16 and unable to create a sticker from a photo. After holding down a photo to create the sticker immediately disappears and doesn’t save. I had no problems with my iPhone 15. This seems to be a common issue how can this be resolved?

When you open the info window, is the subject outlined?
When I tap and hold and slightly move, the subject moves with my finger. If I tap and remove my finger just as the outline begins, then I get this menu:
I'm not sure what's common about the issue. How is it different for you?
Have you tried a forced restart?

This is different from a simple Power Off.
