Im trying to move a list of purchased songs from itunes to my desktop but only some are working. The ones that do work have a little green plus symbol when dragging and the others don't. Is there anything I need to do to get this to work for all songs?

Do you, by chance, have any iTunes Store purchases for which a placeholder is present in your library, but an actual download isn't? (That might happen if you used Remove Download, or possibly if you bought a song on one device and then looked at the library on another.)

If all you have on your Mac is a "placeholder", you might need to re-download the actual song from the iTunes Store before you could copy it elsewhere.

When you say "list," is it a large number? Try moving an individual song, then if that works, do small batches. You can experiment to see how many can succeed at once.
