How to protect my Greenlight account from Apple Wallet scam?

I was trying to update my Greenlight card information and when I put it into the Apple Wallet app, it told me to call Greenlight. So I called the number, but it wasn’t Greenlight, it was an Indian scammer at a call center. I’ve already locked my account and changed my pin, and my mom helped me do that, but I’m not sure why this happened, is the app hacked or something? Also what more can I do to protect my account?

Not sure what the issue is. That is the exact number they show on their web page for setting up with Apple Pay. They may source out Customer Service Representatives for activation. You can contact Greenlight directly if you wish and ask them. Don't see where your phone was compromised or any indication of a scam.
