Crucial X10Pro 4TB - half of advertised speed on MacBook Pro M1.

Crucial advertises writing and reading speed up to 2000 megabytes per second for this little devil.

I paid for it a bit more than the next down model with 1000 megabytes speed advertised.

Using BlackMagic Disk Speed Test - I get about half of that for both on my MacBook Pro M1.

Using the Crucial USB 3 cable that came with it. Formatted it with Disk Utility first.

Wondering if this is due to the USB3 ports on this laptop.

And if I will get latest Mac mini M4, will it get me the speed that I paid for?

Asking all the smart people out there. Help!

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 14.5
