How do I view GPS location in Outdoor Cycle on Apple Watch?

Looking for app that will record my rides on my bike- I thought this watch could do it because of the gps tracking built . It does prompt me to record the ride with outdoor cycle and I do but it never shows me any location information only the distance. Is there an easy way to do this or do I need another app?

Thank you.

You can turn on route tracking when you set up your Apple Watch, or at any time later: On your Apple Watch: Open

the Settings app , go to Privacy & Security > Location Services,

tap Apple Watch Workout, then tap While Using the App.

I don't believe the watch, itself, shows tracking data, only a summary, as you've found.

However, the watch is part of the Apple Fitness suite and the data should be synched to your phone. If you look at the Fitness app on your phone you should be able to view the workouts, including GPS maps and other data relevant to the workout (such as heart rate, splits, etc.)
