Problem charging with power bank after update to iOS 18.3.1 (iPhone 15)

Hello everyone,

after updating to iOS 18.3.1, I noticed a problem with charging my iPhone 15 via power bank. Using the original USB-C cable that came with the phone, the iPhone no longer charges and the message appears, "This accessory requires too much power."

The strange thing is that it seems to me that before the update it was working perfectly with the same power bank and cable, but honestly I wouldn't bet too much on my recollection of this.

I tried:

- Restarting the iPhone and power bank → no change

- Using another cable (USB-A to USB-C) → it seems to work, but it is not always a practical option

I couldn't test with another power bank because I don't have one available, but I'm curious if anyone else had the same problem after the update.

Is this a bug in iOS 18.3.1 or did Apple change something in the charging management? Has anyone else experienced the same problem?
