cannot reverse clip Logic Pro X 11.1- have tried all suggestions available online

I cannot reverse an audio clip I recorded in Logic Pro X (mono synth note.) I have tried all the suggested fixes (bouncing audio region in place) and have attempted to Convert Audio (grayed out!). All options in the Region Inspector are grayed out. All options in the Functions menu of the Audio Editor window are grayed out but reverse is not even an option in there. I've noticed when I click on other audio files in the session these options are no longer grayed out. This is highly frustrating and highlights why every time I try to switch to Logic from Ableton Live I end up just going back.

Hi,

Can you check your flex time options for me? When a audio region has flex time enabled, you cannot use the reverse function.

Simply "Show/Hide Flex" (Cmd+F) and see if your track has Flex enabled (look below for blue icon).

Hope this helps,

No, it's audio I recorded. A synth track. I cut a piece of the audio track and moved it to a different spot and wanted to reverse it to create a rise. Not an option with this piece of audio, the rest of the track or any of the tracks I've recorded in this session.
