Why are the videos I import from my Fujifilm XS-10 camera onto my MacBook Air cropped?

I often make videos with my Fujifilm XS-10 camera and want to import these onto my laptop to edit them. I never seemed to have a problem with importing videos larger than 4,0 GB on my microsoft HP spectre laptop from the same camera, but MacBook (version 15.3.1) deletes half of the video. If I click on the information of said video it shows me that the length is for example 15 minutes, the size 4,2 GB, but once I click on it and it is opened in QuickTime Player it only gives me around 6 minutes. The rest of the video just disappeared. Although the length is still stated the same (see images) I freezes the frame after those five minutes are reached. I also tried to import them to an external SSD, but importing them from there gives me the same issue. I don't understand why half of the videos are deleted, while videos that are larger downloaded from iCloud can easily be played off. Do I need to change the formatting on my camera? Does someone else experience the same problem? I also can't upload them on iCloud because that server also cuts them off. I literally don't know what to do anymore. I downloaded so many different applications as well like VLC, Fujifilm Acquire and changed the formatting of my SSD to MacOS extended instead of the one used for microsoft. Can somebody help me out?
