I cannot access files in safari folder on iCloud Drive on my iPhone.

first things first, I use iPhone se3, which is up to date.

I was trying to save a pdf file clicking share button and then pressed "save to files" and since the save location was set to safari folder as the default, I did press save. but I could not access the file in that folder. I could not click it nor delete it.

When I pressed saved file for long, a small menu popped up, which only had some menus to save it or remove it from downloaded items or something. the file had small cloud icon on the bottom right as if it is on the cloud, but not on the device.

But I would like to access the file or delete it. How could I access the safari folder to move files or delete files?

I need your help.

iPhone SE, iOS 18

I was able to solve this problem now using a solution suggested by a guy's reply in reddit post.

First, open the terminal of Your Mac computer that is synced with your iPhone.

Second, enter open ~/Library/Mobile\ Documents/iCloud~com~apple~mobilesafari. on terminal.

When you do that it will directly open that folder in finder, which would allow you to delete or access the file.

and my recommendation is to set "download" as your download folder after this. so that you wouldn't face this problem again.
