Family Sharing Age Not Updating Properly

Update:

My mother and I managed to fix this issue. We’re not entirely sure how we did it. My Apple ID now says “Adult” instead of “Age 18.”

Note: once you leave family sharing, your phone might apply content restrictions. Go to settings and open up screen time settings to fix it if this happens.
