Yellow icon on iPhone charging and won’t go past 40%

The yellow icon means the phone is in low power mode.

If it isn’t charging try a different power source and different cable.

You do have Low Power Mode turned off, correct?

Is it possible that "yellow' might actually be "orange"? If yes, that would indicate that the charger and/or cable is not providing enough juice
