Sharing Apple Account with Family (my husband).

I want to share my Apple Account with my husband (Family). I already set up his username and a password. Did I act too quickly? Is there a different way I should have done this?

No. You each should have your own Apple Account (username and password). You can then set up Family Sharing to share some of the things that you want to share.
