The imported photos in Photo are empty...

I imported the photos from my memory card inside Photo software.

This is the result....

When I try to open one of those, I see only a colored big square...

Can someone help me, please?

Thank you.

It's beginning to look like these picture files don't have normal image information on them.

A file name of _1050558.JPG seems quite unusual. The leading underscore might be used to indicate some sort of auxiliary information for a picture-- but I'm not sure if I've seen it. I did a search of my own image files, and I didn't find an example of a jpg file that started with underscore. Of course, I don't have every sort of camera file.

Is this an SD card? Are there other files on this "memory card," maybe with the same name but no _? Can you see the images on the camera screen?

That's great!

It's not unusual for there to be two files, maybe IMG_1234, the picture, and IMG_o1234, other data. Or maybe 1234.jpg and _1234.jpg. So it may be that those blank files are auxiliary files that the Sandisk Rescue Pro app understood. Glad it worked!

I am sorry for the late reply Richard.

Yes, the file was stored in a Sandisk card made by Panasonic Lumix camera. Sincerely, I don't remember if this kind of file format name, it was setting by me or directly by the camera and yes, until now, all the files, that I have on my mac, created by this camera, have this type of format name.

Yes. I could see the images in the preview and in the camera monitor.

I think at this point, some import data was missing during the process.

In the meantime, I am happy, because I have restored most of the lost files in the SD card, with the Sandisk Rescue Pro app, but I would like to know why this happened, to eliminate the problem.

Thank you very much, for your help.
