How do I disable 'Sent with Siri' in text messages on iPhone?
In reply to those requesting the choice to turn off “Sent with Siri” in text messages.
”Sent with Siri” is automatically added to the end of a text message when ‘automatically send messages’ is turned on in Settings. (As opposed to ‘ask before sending’.)
To change this setting go to:
Settings:
> Siri
> Messaging with Siri
> Automatically Send Messages, then turn off Automatically Send Messages.
(When this setting is ‘on’ you get “Sent with Siri”)
Doing so will now cause Siri to ask/prompt you complete sending any text message you dictate by asking you “Send?”
At that point you can say “send/yes” and Siri will send the message. Or you can say “no/cancel” and start over.
’Sent with Siri’ may seem annoying but it’s actually a safety precaution in case you accidentally send a dictated message and didn’t mean to, or Siri didn’t transcribe what you said correctly. Basically you can blame Siri for the message or confusion.
Hope this helps.
