Authorize computer when the songs were purchased using an older account
i purchased a number of albums when I using my work account. I am now retired and I no longer have access to that account, how do I authorize them?

Items purchased with one Apple ID cannot bet transferred or merged with another Apple ID. Unless you change your Apple ID according to:
Change your Apple Account primary email address - Apple Support
but I am not sure that will help you in this case.
