Child Bypassing Screen Time Restrictions After Restart

Dear Apple Support Team,

I am using Family Sharing and Screen Time to manage my child’s iPhone usage. However, I have noticed that my child is able to bypass app restrictions by restarting the device and quickly opening a restricted app before Screen Time reactivates.

Is there a way to prevent this workaround? Specifically:

  • Can I require the Screen Time passcode immediately after a restart?
  • Is there an option to delay access to restricted apps until Screen Time fully loads?
  • Are there any settings or updates that address this issue?

I would appreciate any guidance on how to ensure that Screen Time remains effective, even after a device restart.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,

iPhone 8, iOS 16
