Logic Project has been scrapped despite all the audio files being in the project folder

I’ve been working on a project which contains 14 tracks of drums with over 5 takes, and 3 bass tracks with multiple takes as well. For some reason, every time I now open the project, the ‘Create New Track’ window opens and all my work isn’t there anymore. I’ve tried to create a new project and import project data, however it always crashes. I can access the audio files by accessing the ‘Package Contents’, however I’ve now lost the tempo information, and when I upload the files on a new project all the files start at the beginning of the track (I have intro drums, main drums and outro drums, will be difficult to get them in the same place).

What can I do?

iPhone 12, iOS 16

Sir,

Sounds like you might have replaced/erased the session. Did you name it accordingly?

Here is what I would do. I would take the existing audio files and drag them into a new session. Be sure to set the Smart Tempo settings to "ADAPT TEMPO" before dragging them in. I would then drag all the files into that session and Logic will analyze the tempo. From there, change your settings back to "KEEP TEMPO".

Hope that helps,
