Which ink jet printers are compatible with late 2015 MacBook Pro?

Even the early 2015 MBP can run macOS 12 Monterey.

If you wish to upgrade to the newer OS, this is the guidance I usually give:

❗️ – IMPORTANT – If upgrading from 10.14 Mojave or earlier, your older 32-bit 

apps & drivers won’t work in Monterey! They must also be updated or replaced.

Use this free utility> Go64 app from St. Claire Software to check your apps

✅ – Check compatibility of your Mac:

macOS Monterey is compatible with these computers

✅ – Click on Apple menu  > System Settings… > Software Update.

If your Mac does not offer an upgrade, then download Monterey from the App Store.

There is no late-2015 MacBook Pro.

The mid-2015 MBP can run up to macOS 12 Monterey - four generations newer than 10.13 High Sierra. If you want to get the longest, most productive life from your Mac you'll have to consider upgrading the OS.

If for some reason you must continue to use the obsolete High Sierra, then I suggest you focus your search on a printer that is capable of using AirPrint. You won't have to install and use drivers compatible with your old OS.

We do not know your printing requirements. Do a little research. Find a printer that meets your printing needs then check with the printer manufacturer as to whether that printer is compatible with your specific computer model/year/OS.
