iPad does not connect to AA wifi system

When I am on American Airlines and I go to the AA app and click on Entertainment the wifi shows the AA wifi system. When I click on connect it does connect but within 10 seconds it comes back and says "UNSECURE NETWORK" and drops the connection. How can I stay connected, I am using Safari should I use a different browser?
