It would be a lot easier if you could install the Hue App from the App Store. If you have the Hue bridge, you will need to activate the bridge via the hue app to begin using the app. It’s easy to add a bulb with the Hue App, you screw the bulb in, powered on and go to add lights and it will search for the new light on its own , no need to input a serial number. From there you can assign it to the room or rename the bulb etc. Following set up you will need to go into settings on the hue app to sync with Apple HomeKit so it shows up in the Home App.

In the Hue App in the Settings tab select Smart Home > Apple Home - scroll to bottom of that to choose settings in this and you will see Sync Setup to Apple Home. This will copy all you saved in the Hue App. You don’t need to sync it again each time you change something in the Hue App. Once you’ve synced it to Apple Home you can now use Siri to operate your lights.

my screenshots are from an iPad, might look a bit different on the iphone
