I'm thinking about getting a 10-Core CPU,10-Core GPU,16GB Unified Memory,1TB SSD Storage. I'm not using the laptop for anything serious, like work. I'm retired. I will just use it for photo and video editing. Give me your thoughts on this model please. Thanks.

But if you're going to do video editing I'd recommend bumping the RAM - Unified Memory - to a minimum of 24 GB, possibly more if it doesn't break the budget. RAM cannot be upgraded after the purchase.

Maximize your RAM as much as possible to future-proof yourself so you won’t have any regrets because the RAM cannot be upgraded whatsoever after purchase.

There are so many mouses 😉 to choose from, but I'd suggest you stay away from Apple's magic Mouse simply because of the touch surface. The horizontal scroll ability of that mouse drives me crazy when I use it to edit music in Logic because I'm lazy and my index and middle fingers forever brush that surface and cause the timeline to shift.
I've another Macally mouse with a vertical scroll wheel that I do like on another computer. It's a little larger than Apple's and I like that because it fits my hand better.
