Upgrade from Ventura to Sequoia
I have a 2023 Mac mini M2 using Ventura 13.5.2. Have seen issues listed on your site with Sequoia 15.3.1. Should I Update, or should I wait for future revisions to Sequoia ? Many Thanks, Chris

FWIW, you can find issues listed for every version of macOS since the dawn of time. Virtually all of them because of third-party software people installed they shouldn't have. I have three Macs all running Sequoia 15.3.1 without any major issues. So that's what I would recommend.
I have a Mac Mini M4 with Sequoia 15.3.1 running without a problem.
However, if you have installed and run any "cleaning", "optimizing", "speed-up", anti-virus or VPN apps on your Mac remove them according to the developer's instructions before upgrading to Sequoia.
Then check to see if you've removed all of the supporting files by downloading and running the shareware app Find Any File to search for any files with the application's or the developer's name in the file name. For XXXX software you'd do the following search(es):
1 - Name contains XXXX
Any files that are found can be dragged from the search results window to the Desktop or Trash bin in the Dock for deletion.
FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't like invisible folders, system folders and packages.
If you get warnings that the file can't be deleted because it is in use or used by another app boot into Safe Mode according to How to use safe mode on your Mac and delete from there.
Note: if you have a wireless keyboard with rechargeable batteries connect it with its charging cable before booting into Safe Mode. This makes it act as a wired keyboard as will assure a successful boot into Safe Mode.
For me Sequoia has been the most trouble free OS and the easiest to update and not wonder if something will not work. The Apple Intelligence can be something to be wary, in Mail it has made some suggestions for responses that are not ok and so in system settings was turned off. Yes update, what runs now will run well in Sequoia.

Of course you did. Any new system has some problems, particularly since everyone reporting then have different configurations, i.e. 3rd party software.
The number of users with problems is minuscule compared to the number of users running that system. It's like judging the health of a community by what you see in the local hospital's Emergency Room on a Saturday night.
If you have the crapware that I mentioned in my previous post you very likely will have some problems.

what's the rush... even your Ventura 13.5.2. is woefully behind from 9/7/23— the current Ventura 13.7.4
this includes security updates and bug fixes, released February 10, 2025

Has Ventrua 13.5.2 been working fine for you? When it was released it was declared to be the absolute worst update in the history of Apple. See what I mean.
The Apple Support Community forums are a hospital. No one comes here to proclaim their satisfaction with Apple, they come here with problems, mostly because of their own making or lack of knowledge.
