iPhone charging port being very loose and falling out at times

HOPEFULLY whoever is having this problem comes across this post. I was just now scrolling thru looking for answers to this as it was starting to annoy me terribly because when I would try to use my Apple CarPlay via cable it’ll disconnect and shut it off the slightest movement would loosen the cable and stop it from charging. I came across somebody saying to use a toothpick and dig out the lint and gunk that was in the port so I decided to try it out and it did. My charger sits tight and snug again not loose at ALL I sat for awhile with a flashlight digging out the stuff from the corners and cleaning up around just be careful to not be too rough because the toothpick can break and leave wood chips stuck but it does it indeed help try it out and be careful.
