i use cellular call but watch not allowed sms while iphone is off. Could you allow apple watches phone call and sms while connected cellular .

The Apple Watch radio ONLY does “Data” access and does phone calls via Voice over IP. This data only radio saves space and power.
SMS requires a cellular voice radio, and only your iPhone has that.
The Apple Watch and the iPhone cooperate to relay SMS TEXTs via the Internet when the iPhone is not with you.

Good afternoon, To turn on SMS messaging on your Apple watch, do this-
On your Apple Watch- Go to settings>Messages and scroll down to where it says "Send as SMS" and turn it on. This will make it to where you can send a message or call someone when the iMessage app is not available. Hope this helps!
