Magic trackpad not working

I have a magic trackpad to avoid using the mouse, I haven’t used the trackpad for a couple of months, and now it is not working. I connected it with the cable to charge it but still it not working. Is is not showing in the bluetooth options either.

I have a Mac Book Pro Ventura 13.7.4 (22H420), it is updated. The trackpad is Model A1535.

I watched videos, read articles and followed the steps, but nothing worked. SInce it is not showing at all and not working at all I don’t know what can I do.

Any ideas?

The issue may be that the rechargeable lithium battery in this trackpad is depleted. The major issue with lithium batteries, is that if they are left discharged for extended periods of time (in this case months) they may lose their ability to be charged or be charged fully.

If this is the case, AFAIK, Apple does not repair them, but you can still contact Apple Support directly and ask. To do so, simply select the "Support" link on the lower left-hand side of this forum's web page.
