New headphones shocking my ears

Hey - in the past 2 months I’ve bought 2 pairs of Apple wired headphones, to use with iPhone 15

they both keep shocking my ears. Idk what’s going on w Apple manufacturing but sort of weird this is happening twice… what should I do?

I need headphones for work and the AirPods are uncomfortable and generally too invasive

iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 18

Simple answer ... get another brand's headphones if the Apple ones do not work for you.

In my experience, I have never been "shocked" wearing a number of brands of wired headphones, Apple or not.

Are the only ones that are causing this issue your Apple wired EarPods? If you try another brand and the issue does not go away, then there may be an issue with your iPhone.
