IOS 18.3.1 is Glitchy IMHO
OK, so my iphone 12 Pro just updated two nights ago and its working, but seems slower to boot up from a total OFF mode. But thats not whats bugging me. I'm building a house 200 miles away and 6 months ago I installed a XEGA PTZ cellular security wifi camera at the job site. For the past 6 months its been bulletproof, was logging on almost instantly, and its been a lifesaver with regard to dealing with the builder and subs because I can actually talk to someone via the camera and of course hear their respones. I also have a iPad Pro 12.9 5th Generation which is newer than my iPhone, and it hasn't updated to 18.3.1 yet but says its going to tonight.
The only way I can get the iphone 12 Pro to logon to the remote security wifi camera now is I have to totally power down and wait a minute then power up and even then it might take 2-3 tries before it connects. The ipad pro, with its IOS 18.1.1 logs on really fast, and still images and live video are both excellent. Using the exact same software (UBOX) on both devices. And up until the software updated to IOS 18.3.1 the iphone was working fine with a very quick logon. Now all I get is a spinning ball until it connects... and its sitting on my desk next to one of my Mesh router modules, and my in house wifi is excellent.
Gotta believe something in the new software is causing this.
