Apple TV photo album screensaver repeatedly showing same photos

I’m not sure why my last post was deleted, but I’m adding it again because the issues still are here. Someone suggested Create a slideshow on Apple TV - Apple Support (CA) which absolutely did not work and I’m still seeing the same exact photos everytime the background starts. So that information was invalid to help with my situation.

Saw someone post this same issue in 2022. Here we are 2025 and the issue is STILL not fixed smh!!!!! I just moved and was so excited to display this feature on my new TV for guests to see and out of an album of over 200+ photos, it continues to show the same ones in order whenever the screensaver comes on. This is absurd. 

I’ve tried taking the album off and adding it back on, restarting the Apple TV, signing in and out of iCloud, reseting the Apple TV and nothing is working. I have 2 Apple TV’s and it does this on both devices. 

And again, now I have tried Create a slideshow on Apple TV - Apple Support (CA) and that did not work at all.

This is extremely frustrating and they really need to fix this or come up with a workaround because this doesn’t make any sense!!!!!
