How to enable a Personal Hotspot by setting APN to iPhone name

Solved - Hotspot greyed out also resolved. If above methods didn't work for you then try this.

Go to cellular->Primary-> Cellular Data Network-> Scroll Down to Hotspot and set APN to your Iphone Name.

It will also bring back Personal Hotspot if it's greyed out.

Personal Hotspot Hi! I’m currently using an iPhone 11 pro and I use both physical and eSim. I use mobile data from the physical sim. But when I do that I can’t enable personal hotspot.I can’t even see the option to enable it. But when I swith mobile data to the other sim I can enable hotspot as usual and I can see the option to enable it in the settings. I was hoping for get some help to fix this problem. Thank you!

Most iPhones do not allow the APN to be changed.

And the correct way to fix Personal Hotspot is to contact your carrier.
