Perhaps to try to further troubleshoot, then consider submission

to Apple Support; if nothing changes, they could diagnose Mac

and attempt things you may not be able to, at home or work?

This might be resolved through more detailed pro effort, by

trained Apple Support technicians; at AASP or official Store.

I've read searches similar yet slightly different symptoms with macOS

and portable Macs; as these happened & these occasionally to others.

And these go back a few years too; with older macOS & hardware.
